Dr. Tovah Klein is the author of Raising Resilience: How to Help our Children Thrive in Times of Uncertainty and of How Toddlers Thrive. She is the Director of the Barnard College Center for Toddler Development and a Psychology Professor at Barnard College, Columbia University. For thirty years she has researched and worked with parents and children, aiming to understand the critical roles parents play in children’s lives. She has worked with children, teens and adults who experienced severe trauma, including large scale such as 9/11 and tsunamis, as well as individual, from fires and floods to familial and sexual abuse.
